Processes

The key element in upholstery and pre-covering is manual skill and this continues to be the real driving force behind all our processes, despite use of modern equipment.
Important collaboration with other associated companies enables us to offer not just SEMI-FINISHED items, but also FINISHED products.

Pre-covering

This is our most important process. The wood frames can be padded with various densities of polyurethane foam and covered with bonded/resined covers. The result is a semi-finished product.

Upholstery

The next phase after pre-covering is upholstery. We cover the item with fabric, leather or eco-leather. The customer chooses the material, while we are responsible for the process and transformation.

Capitonné

Although this type of process was first invented in the 1800s, capitonné is still widely used in modern furnishing.
This delightful and 100% manual process can be applied to sofas, armchairs, beds, footstools and poufs.
